According to sources George Lopez and his wife of seventeen years are filing for divorce. It is a mutual agreement and they remain dedicated parents to their children. They have also agreed to keep the Lopez foundation going as well. Their split has been being worked out of quite some time now.
In 2005, Ann donated one of her kidneys to her husband after one of his deteriorated due to a genetic disorder. Following the transplant George told sources that for the first time in his life he was going to live healthy and it was because of his wife that it was possible. Whatever happened to George Lopez professionally he claimed that there was no way he could pay his wife back, however he could try to make her as happy as possible in their marriage. That of course has all changed although the comedian and late night host says that he still is glad for what she did for him. The couple has a fifteen year old daughter together.
George Lopez has a sitcom on the cable network and he also does a late night show as well. Both of which are doing very well. He is a comedian and a kid at heart however he is also into the business of the Lopez Foundation and helping others too. He has appeared on the big screen although most of his fame has come from being a comedian and making others laugh. This is his favorite past time. Friends of the family have even agreed that this divorce has been a long time coming.
