Although he isn’t the only actor in Hollywood donating a million dollars to help out in the Haitian tragedy, he is one that kind of got the ball rolling and then the others kicked in and decided to do the same thing. He wants to get the telethon off to a good start and by donating his own money he knows that individuals like you will pitch your part to the red cross too.
His Not on our watch charity drive has been doing well and then for Clooney to hand over his own money just makes the drive even better all the way around. The people in Haiti need help even though there has been criticism by some because of the problems in Chili as well. However, Haiti got hit very hard by the earthquake and they are still in a state of shock.
According to sources the we are the world remake and other things to help assist Haiti is the only thing that is going to help dig them out, and that includes the actor’s doing their parts. Its commendable to see George Clooney and others backing up the red cross and doing all that they can for the people of Haiti. There are still a lot of problems the people of Haiti are having and its just not like people to turn the other way. Not if you have a heart.
Everyone that has donated money throughout Hollywood knows that its needed there and the drive and charities will continue until Haiti doesn’t need any further assistance and yet, that doesn’t look like any time soon. George Clooney isn’t used to doing telethons and things like this but he is doing a great job, in fact all of the actors are doing a great job. They are all proving that they do have a heart and the best way for them to help is by donating money for the red cross and other ways that will benefit Haiti.
