Nigel Lythgoe Could Join American Idol

According to sources Nigel has been talking with Fox about returning as one of the judges. He was a judge for awhile but left the show a couple of years ago. With the new Lythgoe rumors a new name has come to light as a judge and being lured back to the Idol after he left the show two years ago.

Another name that has been rumored is that of the pop singer Justin Timberlake as well. Reportedly Justin is a star whom show creator Simon Fuller would like to bring on board, however most view that possibility as nothing more than a dream on behalf of the show’s co creator. Other reported judges to fill the seat of Simon Cowell who left the show in May, include many different names.

The latter possibility is one to whom former American Idol season six winner would be Jordin Sparks. She after all gives the thumbs up to such a notion. And yet, they are still deliberating on who will actually take the seat of the former judge. Most of them all know this is a family show and also a popular show that has very good television ratings. The important thing to Fox is picking and choosing someone who will stay with the show and not leave so quickly. As far as Lythgoe Fox wouldn’t comment about him and if he is going to be a judge among the others being considered or not.

These could be only rumors however if there is truth behind it some fans believe that Nigel is the right choice due to the fact that he does know a lot about the show already. Corey Haim’s Presence Lives On In New Lost Boys

According to Corey Feldman his long time friend Corey Haim will live on in the new movie the Lost Boys: the Thirst. He would love it were his words and he was very excited about the fact we were making another one. He did some interviews and said that while he couldn’t be part of it he was looking forward to seeing how his character would develop.

Haim who died in March 2010 was not slated to appear in the new vampire movie, but the new installment still honors the late actor, according to his friend. This film is actually dedicated to Corey Haim, when you see the movie there are scenes that pertain to his character and most people, when they watch the movie, will believe that we shot it after he was gone. Feldman continued. It is going to be a phenomenal movie and you will be in suspense from the time it starts until it is finished looking for scenes with Haim actually in them.

Sources say they are still discussing what we are going to do with his character in the movie. But just watching the movie is going to be somewhat eerie. Although it was really sad to lose him it was also sad for the franchise because they had the Lost Boys movie in the development stages. So now doing it is going to be a bit of a challenge but not according to Corey Feldman who was co stars with the late Corey Haim. In fact he claims it is a bit shocking when you watch the movie and see his friend in it.

Brad Pitt Helps Pick Husband For Movie Salt

According to sources Brad Pitt helped pick Angelina Jolie’s on screen husband for the movie Salt. The director recently told NBC that Angelina’s longtime partner helped actor August Diehl land the role alongside brad;s real life lady love.

Brad had said what a strong actor he was and they were looking for someone with no baggage. Someone with a fresh face to keep the audience off guard. Movie goers with a keen eye will remember August for his tense beer hall scene from Inglorious Basterds in which he played a Nazi. He was really ruthless in that movie and he is considered a great actor. Brad has no problem with the guy playing the husband of Angelina Jolie in the movie Salt.

Brad and Angelina have been together for a long time and who else would be better to help NBC find the right person than Brad Pitt himself. Angelina is a great actress and she can actually work with anyone that’s just her personality. There have been actors and actresses in the past who just couldn’t work together. The chemistry just didn’t click but with her it doesn’t really matter who the actor or actress is, she can work with them.

The Salt movie is out and hitting theaters soon, so Salt’s cast in some sense was chosen by Brad Pitt too. There is a movie trailer out for this movie and you can view scenes from different portions of the movie. But it doesn’t show the ending of the movie. Angelina Jolie is excited about doing this movie.

Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Country

Who would’ve guessed that Gwyneth Paltrow would be doing country music. You will find out by simply listening to her newly released single “Country Strong”. This is just one of the songs she is bringing out.

The academy winning actress is now adding country music singer to her list of achievements. Her music will also be featured in the new drama called Country Strong in which she also stars in. In the movie she plays a country music singer down on her luck and so on. All of the music mostly in that movie will be done by Paltrow. And as of Monday her music hit radio stations all over. Paltrow has gone country to many of her fans.

Although there isn’t a lot of information about this now actress added singer we can tell you her music is really good. If you haven’t heard it you need to go out and buy her single. Its really that good. The actress has been in other movies and she has been nominated for awards too. She learned how to play guitar for the movie and even took singing lessons just so she would be the real deal.

The movie Country Strong was recorded and done in Nashville and she loved every minute of making the music and the movie. As of right now there isn’t a movie trailer for it, but that will be coming soon according to sources close to the actress.

DMX In Jail For 90 Days

According to sources the rapper surrendered and is now serving a ninety day jail sentence for a 2002 reckless driving conviction. A Los Angeles attorney spokesperson said the 39 year old rapper turned himself in at a downtown courthouse. he said a judge ruled that the rapper cannot be freed on electronic monitoring, work release or home detention.

DMX, was originally charged with drunken driving but those charges were later dismissed. He has been repeatedly arrested and jailed in the past decade, recently serving a sentence in an Arizona jail for violating probation by failing a drug test.

Sources also conclude that the rapper was found in violation of his probation in January and was suppose to surrender in March. However, he didn’t appear in court and the judge revoked his one hundred thousand dollar bail. This being revoked meant that the rapper had to surrender and do his time in jail. He did not resist but turned himself in willingly.

The rapper finally came in and was ordered to serve 90 days in jail for missing court appearances and violating his probation so many times on different occasions. The attorney for DMX could not be reached for any type of comment.

Al Pacino In Merchant Of Venice Headed To Broadway

According to sources the actor Al Pacino and The Merchant Of Venice is heading to broadway this fall. the public theater announced that following an eight week run at Central park’s theater, Pacino will relocate to Broadway as Shylock in the Shakespeare comedy this fall.

It will be opening in October at the Broadhurst theater, the production will run through the middle of January 2011. However no other casting announcements were made as of yet. Al Pacino has played in several movies on the big screen and this will be a twist for him however he claims it will be a fun thing to do in his career and his achievements. Some actors want to do Broadway just as much as being on the big screen and he is one of those actors.

Although there isn’t a lot of information for this project Al Pacino is ready for the play and being on Broadway. He feels as though he is ready and willing to do what the directors and producers ask of him. As the time gets closer there will be more information about this and what Al Pacino is doing.

Bret Michaels Adds Three More Tour Dates

According to sources Bret Michaels has been feeling strong, and because of this he has added three more tour dates to his schedule. The true rocker at heart and lead singer has been performing on stage and feeling good. There was only one thing for him to do and that was add the three dates.

Although he recently went through life threatening issues the singer is still determined to reach his fans and stay on tour. And as long as he is feeling up to it, sources claim that is exactly what he wants to do. According to the singer his fans are what keep him going and the ticket sales have never been higher for the singer.

In addition, the singer is expecting his new album to please his fans as well. It was released into stores on the 6th of July. The rocker has been filling a full schedule and hasn’t stopped yet since his release from the hospital. He is doing it all, making appearances on television, getting awards, being on tour, and just going full throttle on life.

His fans all wished him well and a fast recovery and that’s exactly what he has done, his performances haven’t been hindered whatsoever and the schedule he has started hasn’t been altered whatsoever. Although it was against medical advice the singer has been on tour and watching his health at the same time. He isn’t an idiot, if he doesn’t feel good he will slow down, but as for now he is feeling good and feeling strong as stated above and there’s no slowing him down.

House Star Hugh Laurie To Do Blues Album

Sources say that the house star Hugh Laurie has been battling with the blues for a long time, now he plans on making an album and releasing it to the public. Warner Music Entertainment said Monday that the British actor Hugh Laurie has signed a deal to record an album of the New Orleans inspired blues.

Laurie is very excited about making the album and has wanted to do this for quite some time. He believes that the album will sell many times over and people will love the music he puts on it.

Despite his note perfect accent on House Laurie is a longstanding member of Britain’s acting establishment, famous for turns in the Blackadder comedies and as Bertie Wooster in Jeeves and Wooster. In 2007, Laurie was made a member of the Order of the British empire. In his role of playing on the television show he plays a doctor that is wound up most of the time.

On house, Laurie’s character often plays the piano and guitar. According to his record company Laurie is self taught in piano and because in a very house like move he has creative differences with his childhood teacher. The album is to be produced by Grammy winner Joe Henry, who has also worked with other clients like Hugh Laurie. Earlier this month Hugh Laurie received his fifth emmy nomination for his performance in the television show House. Fans are curious as to what the album will actually sound like and there are several already planning on purchasing the album.

Alred Molina Will Join Law and Order Los Angeles

According to sources Alfred, the veteran actor and broad way actor will join the cast of Law And Order Los Angeles. Which will debut this fall as the newest member of the NBC crime drama family.

Molina will play Deputy district attorney Morales. He joins a list of outstanding cast members already on the television show watched by so many viewers now. Law and Order Los Angeles will join the show Law and Order Special victims Unit on NBC. The original Law and Order ended its run on television last season after twenty years to share the longevity record with the show “Gunsmoke.”

Skeet Urich plays a lead detective in the new crime drama that like its predecessors, divides its episodes between the work of police and prosecutors. Molina’s film credits include Raiders of the Lost Ark, Spiderman 2, and the Da Vinci Code. He recently starred on Broadway in the award winning drama Red. He should be a good addition to the show Law and Order Los Angeles.

Law and order Los Angeles is produced by Wolf Films and Universal media studios. This is a television show that producers and directors are hoping will have as high a ratings as the original Law and Order. As stated above it will premier in the fall of this year, and Alfred Molina will be on board along with the others in the cast of members.

Eminem Finally Hits Number One On Billboard 100

After weeks of playing in second place, Eminem and Rihanna finally found the way to the top. The single “Love the way you lie” took first place on the billboard 100. Eminem’s latest album sold one and a half million copies. The single is the fourth chart topper single for Eminem.

He first found his way to the top with “Lose Yourself” the single from the film eight mile. With this being his latest number one hit on the billboard 100 he now becomes one of the best known rappers in the industry. Eminem has had a time with relapse and others however he finally cemented his name in the rapper world. Not even some of the other rappers in the music industry has accomplished this task. Eminem hasn’t announced what the next single will be, or when it will be released. He is on top of the world right now and his music tells a story of a strong white rapper that is ready for anything. He surpassed Katy Perry who originally held the number one position for the past few weeks. Leaving the rapper in second place.

Although there isn’t a lot about this singing sensation, he isn’t done yet. There will no doubt be other top billboard 100 song singles coming from this guy, he’s just that good. It might take him some time but he always manages to climb to the top eventually. What did you think of his single? Have you even heard it?

Two Candidates For American Idol Judge Position

Although it hasn’t been official Fox is still on the hunt for the replacement of Simon Cowell. However, there have been rumors and speculation for several candidates. Two of them were recently revealed. Chris Isaak and Harry Connick Jr.

Chris has met with Fox twice so far and the singer whose list of past television credits also includes his own sitcom known by many viewers as the Chris Isaak Show. Which was on show time.

According to other sources the network has also met and considered Harry Connick Jr. The network is obviously still on the lookout for the right candidate for the position. Harry served as a mentor on the show’s latest season and even earned credit from the ever knowing Simon Cowell. To Simon, he claims that it wouldn’t surprise him one bit if they did choose Harry because of his background and the face that he was a good mentor and he also knows a lot about music. The Fox network is utilizing the backgrounds of the people they are deliberating over and amazingly there are several people who have voiced their opinion of wanting the position and want to be considered as well.

In addition, there have been others who have been recognized although they have all been turned down and the network continues to search for the right person for the job. No one really knows who will be the replacement for Simon although it doesn’t help a lot when Simon is now doing the X factor show. This also airs on Fox. In essence, whoever does make the cut and gets the position will join the Idol in September for Season ten. They are already doing auditions for the show and the show will return in January. This doesn’t give Fox very much more time to find another judge for the panel.

Zsa Zsa Gabor In Critical Condition After Surgery

Sources are saying that the 93 year old actress that went in for hip replacement surgery after a fall has had a stroke of some type and is now in critical condition at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center. Gabor’s husband said his wife had injuries to the right side of her body, including a broken hip after she fell out of her bed last weekend trying to get into her wheelchair at her Bel Aire home alone. She appeared to be recovering after the hip surgery but during surgery suffered the stroke.

However the doctor is claiming it is just speculation and they won’t know for sure for a couple of days. Zsa Zsa is conscious. She looks at them but doesn’t know what is going on or doesn’t speak.

Gabor is Hungarian born and was a terrific actress for decades, not to mention one of the most beautiful actresses known in Hollywood quickly becoming a legend in the acting industry. She was partially paralyzed in a car accident in 2002 and was confined to a wheel chair. The brake wasn’t on when she was trying to get out of bed and the fall occurred when the chair moved.

She was the guest in several television show appearances and also played on several different television shows as well. She is a wonderful actress with great hospitality and charm. Always showing courtesy to everyone. She also appeared in movies such as Moulin Rouge in 1952 and also Queen of outer space” in 1958. She also appeared on game shows during her decades of acting. Her talent spanned only as far as she allowed it to and never let her beauty get her parts in movies. She is very intelligent. Charming and also beautiful even after her accident in 2002. Gary Coleman’s Ex Wants Common Law Marriage For Estate

According to sources Shannon Price is fighting for a common law marriage declaration so she can be the one to get his estate. She wants to be recognized as the child star’s surviving spouse through common law.

There were documents filed in the district court on behalf of Shannon saing she and Coleman continued to live together and represent themselves as being married although they were divorced in 2008. She also wants the judge to recognize her common law marriage to Coleman from the date of the divorce through to May 28 the day Gary died. There is an ongoing disagreement and battle over Coleman’s estate. The 42 year old died after being taken off of life support after a fall.

Multiple wills have emerged which address the estate, although a note that was actually handwritten by Gary Coleman days after his 2007 marriage to Shannon Price names her as sole heir. The note hasn’t been confirmed as being legitimate or not. Gary Coleman has a quite large estate worth a lot of money and whoever gets to be known as the surviving heir will be the one to get the estate.

Meanwhile, as the battle for the estate continues, the girlfriend Anna Gray says that a 2005 document awards her the estate. The parents of Gary Coleman are not involved in this matter of who gets what. Lawyers are arguing the issue because of all the documents that have been brought before the judge and it is becoming a madness. However, it could be that the judge will award the estate to be sold and divided evenly between the two individuals arguing that they are the sole heir to the Gary Coleman estate. Or the judge will deliberate over the documents and find in favor of one or the other.

Prosecutors Want Wesley Snipes In Jail

Sources say that prosecutors in Florida have asked a judge to revoke the appeal bond of movie star Wesley Snipes. They want him in jail.

They want an order from the judge stating that Wesley Snipes must surrender and begin serving a three year sentence because he willfully failed to file income tax returns. However an appeals court decided that Wesley Snipes had received a fair trial and sentence. The motion was filed on Wednesday in federal court in Ocala.

Wesley Snipes now 47, was granted an appellate bond. This allowed him to remain free after a 36 month sentence was imposed on him through the U.S district Judge. He had tax related and lapsed misdemeanor convictions.

If the judge decides to revoke this bail then Wesley Snipes is looking at three years in jail and that is exactly what the prosecutors are looking for. It doesn’t seem right to go after him after he was sentenced and already given the appellate bond which allows him to stay free. If he is paying the tax related problems and issues off then it doesn’t seem logical for him to go to jail, unless of course he is not cooperating. If he is doing everything they ask of him why put him in jail now?

There was no comment from Snipes or his attorney and they couldn’t be reached for any type of comment on the matter. The prosecutors are still waiting for an answer from the judge. If the judge grants the request and the appeal bond is revoked the star will probably go to jail.

Daniel Schorr Journalist Dies At 93

According to sources the veteran broadcast journalist died at a Washington hospital Friday morning. He was 93 years old. Shorr began as a foreign newspaper correspondent in 1946, helped launch CNN as its senior Washington correspondent in 1980 after two decades with CBS.

NPR, which Schorr joined as senior news analyst in 1985, said he died peacefully after a short illness. In fact, his coverage put him on Richard Nixon’s infamous “enemies list.”

Daniel Schorr was one of those reporters that were simply phenomenal and born with the knack to be an outstanding journalist. As well as being a terrific reporter. In addition, he was an eye witness reporter, former CBS anchor Dan Rather said, He was an eye witness to many of the great events of the twentieth century, and covered them with the utmost accuracy and integrity. Schorr’s career did receive some controversy, although he served as an elder statesman of journalism in his last decades with NPR.

Sources claim that no one else in his profession or journalism had as much experience and wisdom as he did. Even though he was mostly serious he did have a funny, kind, and playful side. Schorr covered the rebuilding of Western Europe for the Christian science Monitor starting in 1946.

He joined Edward Murrow’s CBS news tean as its Washington diplomatic correspondent in 1953. CNN founder Ted Turner hired Schorr in 1979 as he was preparing to launch the Cable News Network the next summer.

In terms of the image presented to the journalism community, Turner and Schorr could be matching bookends. His many awards included a Peabody for a “lifetime of uncompromising reporting of the highest integrity,” three Emmys and the duPont Columbia Golden Baton. He will be missed but definitely not forgotten.

Justin Bieber Will Appear On CSI

According to sources Jason will be making his acting debut by appearing on the television show CSI. The teen idol will be going to Hollywood. He will make his acting debut on the season premier of CSI. The Crime Scene Investigation this fall on CBS.

The singer will play a troubled teen who is faced with a hard decision that has to do with his only brother. It should be an awesome episode to watch. He won’t be the first chart topping young musician to make an appearance on the television show CSI. Another musician also appeared and that was Taylor Swift.

Though the television screen will be a new twist or concept to Justin he is going through the acting lessons now, or at least that’s what he posted on his twitter page. He apparently has an acting coach to give him a few pointers in order to get ready for his debut on television. Way to go Justin!

He has conquered his fear though through his music videos that had a camera on him, so he feels he is ready for his debut. He is such a young singing sensation and now heading for Hollywood according to him he is ready. Sources claim that the “baby” singer has big ideas and goals.

Preparing for his guest role he has every intention of doing his best and get some more media under his belt. His fans all think its awesome that he is going to be on television and can’t wait to see him acting.

Elton John Gets Food Poisoning Cancels Concert

According to sources the British rocker got food poisoning which caused the postponement of Elton John’s scheduled concert at Tuscan Arena. It was reported that there were over eight thousand tickets sold for the show however instead of doing the concert on the original date, it has been rescheduled for Thursday.

Doctors agree that by then Elton John should be doing much better. He isn’t sure how exactly he got the food poisoning however he is feeling much better and will be ready to take the stage. Elton John apologizes to his fans for missing the concert but said he would make it up to them by singing as many songs as possible the night of the concert.

His loyal fans await his return and know that he won’t let them down, that if he was sick, that was the truth. He knows it is an inconvenience to his fans having to wait on him to get better. Elton John is truly a musical sensation.

Elton John has done concerts all over the world and is a very popular British singer and rocker who can play the piano without even thinking about it. His career has essentially turned him into a legend and an icon in the music industry. He has several albums out spanning over decades of performance and being in recording studios. He has also done music with other singers and musicians throughout his career. So, in essence to his fans, waiting for him to get well and sing it worth the wait.

Taylor Swift Releasing New Album In October

According to sources, two years after “Fearless” Taylor Swift is going to let her music speak to her fans again. The country singer and superstar Taylor Swift new album 2010 release date is October 25 and the first single “Mine” will be released on August 16th, 2010!

It’s the right thing at the right time and really important to Taylor at this point so nothing is said or done wrong. She has had some controversy in the past however she is not letting this stop her from continuing and furthering her career as a singer. Sources say lately she is more afraid of letting time pass without saying anything when its time to let the music flow again.

And although she is ready to come clean with all her little confessions about her feelings she has placed those thoughts and emotions into songs that are on her new album. She is also dedicating each song on her new album to one certain individual per song. She claims the songs are of things she should’ve said at the right time before now and never did. And each song is written with one person in mind specifically. Its telling them all the things she meant to say when they were in person.

The Taylor Swift new album 2010 will be one that many individuals get wondering who and what the songs are about. The album “Speak Now” is just what she needed to describe her feelings and what she wants to say to those people. Taylor Swift has many different songs already out and there are her loyal fans who can’t wait for this album to be released. In their opinion although they would wait longer; its about time.

Still No Replacement For Idol Judge Simon Cowell

According to sources even though the American Idol season ten is only weeks away there is still no judge replacing Simon Cowell as of yet. The producers still haven’t found the right person for the position. There are a lot of talks, rumors, and discussions going on however still no one to fit the job.

The other judges don’t know who they picked or if they have even picked anyone yet. They can only speculate and then they really don’t have answers. Randy Jackson is one of the judges on the panel and he said he wasn’t sure although it will probably come out as some huge announcement to everyone. Ellen DeGeneres will be a part of the panel she joined them in season nine. Although there hasn’t been a replacement yet for Simon, the other judges are getting excited about season ten, and since Ellen never really got to participate they were also giving her a few pointers as well.

They are claim they don’t get butterflies anymore because they are judges for a lot of people and kids, but they know those who stand before them definitely have the butterflies and sense of being nervous. To them, its exciting to hear someone really talented that has never gotten a shot until American Idol. Although they really would like to know who is going to take the place of Simon Cowell.

There have been talks of different people who the producers have been considering, although they have been keeping a lid on any outside information so the other judges have about as much of an idea as the television viewers do.
