A client has come forward Friday with the power to make funeral arrangements for the late actor. An attorney stated that Coleman had written a will in 1999 and that it will go to court sometime next week. So Gary still won’t be laid to rest anywhere as of yet.
The person who was given the will and named executer was also a former manager for the child star as well as a good friend. It is his last will unless someone can come up with a later one. Coleman’s estranged parents were seeking custody over the remains of Gary to take him back to the small town he is from and have him buried there although that might not happen now.
His former manager claims he just wants things to be done the way Gary wanted them done and that’s just how it is. Gary Coleman’s wife and Gary were supposedly divorced so she had no comment when the former manager came forward with the will. It will be put into probate if nothing else shows up. Although Shannon Price, Gary’s ex wife admits she is glad that his parents have backed off and is letting the courts make decisions.
Even still, his parents were preparing to go to court however now they have seen a copy of the will naming his former manager the beneficiary. At this point they simply want their son to be laid to rest. He died on the 28th of May and is still waiting to be buried. The will won’t go to court until one day next week and that will be around the 12th of June.
