Eminem New Album Sells Over 700,000 copies In First Week



According to sources the rapper who has been laying low lately has essentially gone to the top once again. The question this week wasn’t if recovery would debut at number one but if it could reach the one million number. It fell a bit short but his album is projected to be the year’s highest debut album so far this year.

Eminem new album “Recovery” beat the two other debuts of last year from Sade and Lady Antebellum by more than 200,000. It also beat the debut of his album from last year easily. This album has in fact had the highest debut release numbers since ACDC in 2008. The strong debut has given Eminem his sixth consecutive number one album.

In addition, according to billboard charts Recovery has sold 225,000 downloads for the second biggest digital week in history! So, what doesx the friendly white rapper have to say about it? He is thrilled and loves all of his fans that have stayed with him throughout everything. He claims his fans are phenomenal and that the numbers don’t lie. Em admits that his previous album didn’t bring what he wanted it to however, Recovery has totally made up for that. He is content with the fact that his album is doing so good and eve on the world wide web people are downloading the songs from the album too. He is making music history this time around.

Sources claim that although the album was leaked several weeks early however it didn’t make a difference in the numbers. It is still at this time the number one debut with the biggest first week in sales of copies of the album.

    Eminem is unquestionably back. After a long time of horrible to mediocre albums, my best-selling recording artist of all time is at last back. The fourth and tenth songs on the deluxe version of the record album are pretty much my favorite ones on there.
