According to sources fans have been anticipating what Conan O’Brien was going to name his show on TBS. And now it has officially been announced so his fans can rest easy. The name of his show is going to be simply “Conan.” The late night talk show host is dropping his last name and making the name of the show simple. He claims he wants to get away from the entire Irish concept.
The comedian made the initial announcement on Wednesday morning and the rumors were confirmed later. He wanted to use one name and capture the essence of who he is, in some ways he joked a lot like Oprah. Coco as some of his fans have nicknamed him describe him as being simple like the guy he is.
The one word title was actually chosen weeks ago according to sources, however it had to be cleared legally before anything was announced officially. Conan has actually been working with TBS for weeks now getting everything ready and taking care of all of the red tape as you might guess. They wanted to check for any copyright issues that might come along.
There are many of his fans that can’t wait until his television show becomes a reality and debuts in November on TBS. Of course its late night so it will be seen on that channel around eleven at night. He wants to have fun and be the comedian that he is.
