A 36 year old man has been charged after he allegedly broke into the singer’s home in Montreal reports said Tuesday. He was caught by the police however after the alarm system went off to her home.
The international superstar and her husband were not home at the time. Celine Dion usually lives in Florida but use this residence when they come home to Quebec. Laval police said the suspect was getting ready to take a nice hot bath when police arrived with a canine unit. He had opened the faucets on the bathtub when he was caught. What kind of person would do this? He also raided the refrigerator while he was there too, just making himself at home. The police worked their way through the home, starting with the basement and finally confronted the man on the main floor. The suspect was apparently coming down the big staircase and asked politely, “what are you guys doing here?” so the officers responded with the same question, “and just what are you doing here? And proceeded to arrest him. The suspect was arraigned on Tuesday on charges of breaking and entering, auto theft, and causing property damage. This is not the first time someone has deliberately tried to break into the singer’s home there was another incident that was close to the same routine that occurred in 2009. The man gained entrance into the home by using a garage door opener in an unlocked vehicle. However, he did cause some damage to the vehicle as well.
