According to sources Cee Lo Green may be wishing he could forget his concert this past weekend. Sources state that the singer did not arrive on time for his scheduled Friday night set at the annual California desert based music festival. Instead, the singing sensation arrived thirty minutes late, tossing festival organizers into a frenzy.
The pop singer was reportedly not satisfied with his daytime spot and and wasted no time letting the crowd in on his frustration. He told the crowd he was sorry and asked them if they still wanted to party with him although there were only twenty more minutes left for his concert time slot.
After performing five of his hit songs Cee Lo was forcibly cut off due to time constraints. As Cee Lo continued to vent to the crowd, the audio to his mic was abruptly cut off. He then put a towel on top of his head and stormed off stage, before throwing the towel to the ground.
Lauryn Hill, whose set was pushed back because of Cee Lo’s being late, immediately took the stage to perform a rousing compilation of her hits and left to the sound of enthusiastic cheers.
This wasn’t a good weekend for Cee Lo Green and he was letting everyone know about it. The audience and the organizers. The singer did not like the idea of his singing concert was cut short although it couldn’t be helped with the time agenda of the California annual festival and the way concerts were timed out, and time slots were crucial to fit everyone in.
