British Designer Alexander McQueen Found Dead



According to sources the British Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London home. He was forty years old. He was found in the morning however no circumstances to his death according to the police is that it is not being treated as if there was foul play.

He influenced an entire generation of designers. His brilliant mind and imagination didn’t know any boundaries and he always had an eye for something new to design or combine into one with two different pieces. He was simply amazing to say the least and he even designed a piece for Queen Elizabeth II and she made him commander of the British empire for his fashion leadership in 2003.

He received training at the Central St. Martin’s college if art and design and worked at traditional tailors Anderson and Sheppard for awhile. He became a chief designer at the renowned givenchy house in 1996. Among his many successes were also a variety of runway shows with only the best of the best in modeling and fashion. He moved on to Gucci in 2001. There were some people that thought of his work as being weird or bizarre and didn’t have a lot of class to it and yet they would be one of a kind designs and pieces especially made for the individual or a person that requested his work.

His highlights were always in Paris because of the ready to wear fashion week. Now, with his death the pieces and fashions that he created will be worth more than they were before and many of the pieces were original and won’t be able to be recreated at all. Although the cause of his death is unknown as of yet we will follow up on any additional details should be find out about his death.
