Although Bret Michaels has returned to the stage he is still on the road to recovery from the pain that he has gone through, and is still going through. He suffered a brain hemorrhage in April and a warning stroke a few weeks after that. Against medical advice he is back on the stage for his fans.
He is back on the road and performing but not at one hundred percent. He gets tired easy and has a lot of additional pain. Bret was also hospitalized before that for an appendectomy while on tour and was still recuperating from that. He has had many medical issues and some of his fans believe he should slow down and take care of them, so he can be at his best when he is on stage. Can you tell he is in pain on stage? Maybe but for the most part no, he tries his best to hide it.
According to Bret, music can be a powerful healing tool although we all know that isn’t right but its what he believes. And, some doctors say that fifty percent of people like Bret or in his circumstances don’t have a good outcome, so far Bret is doing okay. There’s no doubt it was a life threatening medical emergency but Bret is determined and his new album comes out in July.
Bret has been keeping busy and that is what he says he wants. He appeared on the season finale Celebrity apprentice where he got the title and also performed on the season nine finale of American Idol less than a week after that. Now, he is back on the road traveling and singing for those fans that want to see him, in his opinion that is what keeps him going, and that is what he is going to do, for his fans.
