According to sources the music rocker Bret Michaels is going to help co-host the Miss Universe Pageant. The organization announced Tuesday that Michaels the musician and reality show television star along with Natalie Morales will be presiding when the pageant airs live from Las Vegas on August 23rd on NBC.
The two hour special will gather contestants representing more than eighty different countries. They will compete in three categories. Swim suit, interview, and evening gown. Michaels has been ill and not feeling well for the past few months but has surprised his fans by being on tour when it is possible. Sources say he added three dates to his tour and still found time to do this television show and co-host it with Natalie.
He is excited about doing the show and wants the best Miss Universe to win. Although all the candidates are going to be beautiful and there are contestants from eighty different countries as stated above.
Michaels was seen this spring as a contestant himself, rising as the winner of NBC’s reality competition on the television show the Celebrity Apprentice. This was an honor for him and he has accomplished so much already and yet he keeps shocking his fans by the different things he has been doing. Not long ago he had a life threatening medical situation and here he is right back into life’s mix doing what he loves to do. Perform and do things for other people just like the television show and doing the co-hosting thing with Natalie Morales.
You never know what Bret is going to do. He has a mind of his own and he takes every day as a brand new day and loves life to the fullest. This is just another achievement for the rocking singer.
