According to sources Brad Pitt helped pick Angelina Jolie’s on screen husband for the movie Salt. The director recently told NBC that Angelina’s longtime partner helped actor August Diehl land the role alongside brad;s real life lady love.
Brad had said what a strong actor he was and they were looking for someone with no baggage. Someone with a fresh face to keep the audience off guard. Movie goers with a keen eye will remember August for his tense beer hall scene from Inglorious Basterds in which he played a Nazi. He was really ruthless in that movie and he is considered a great actor. Brad has no problem with the guy playing the husband of Angelina Jolie in the movie Salt.
Brad and Angelina have been together for a long time and who else would be better to help NBC find the right person than Brad Pitt himself. Angelina is a great actress and she can actually work with anyone that’s just her personality. There have been actors and actresses in the past who just couldn’t work together. The chemistry just didn’t click but with her it doesn’t really matter who the actor or actress is, she can work with them.
The Salt movie is out and hitting theaters soon, so Salt’s cast in some sense was chosen by Brad Pitt too. There is a movie trailer out for this movie and you can view scenes from different portions of the movie. But it doesn’t show the ending of the movie. Angelina Jolie is excited about doing this movie.
