According to sources Betty White will be heading to Saturday Night Live this season. The 88 year old actress was asked if she was doing the NBC show Elton John ‘s 18th annual Oscars viewing party on Sunday night and her answer was yes.
The actress reportedly did not offer up any details on when she might appear on the show or if she would serve as host. A massive online push to get the former golden girl on the NBC comedy show appears to have helped. Betty White to host Saturday Night live are they kidding?
Not that there’s anything wrong with that however, a group of people via the Internet believe it is wrong and that the 88 year old woman shouldn’t be doing it. In their opinion she is beyond her years with humor and what is going on in society today to really get the big picture of Saturday night Live.
On the other hand, there are those people that think its totally awesome for Betty White to be on the Saturday Night live show and to even host it. They feel she can bring something new to the show and not to mention the ratings will go through the roof that night for Saturday Night Live and NBC because you can bet many people will be watching the show that night. Its just how the television world works.
