Sources say that once again Angelina is getting involved with the refugees in yet another country. This time it is on the border of Columbia and Ecuador. Her mission is to show others of the abusive circumstances women and children endure.
The actress and the U.N human rights goodwill ambassador are there now for the first time in eight years. Things haven’t changed a lot however this is a region where thousands of Colombian refugees live. Angelina spent two days there helping out and doing what she does best, give of her time. One of the women she met lost two children in Colombia’s conflict.
There are more than fifty thousand refugees in Ecuador though unofficial estimates put that number much higher. Angelina has a heart of gold when it comes to the children especially she wishes she could do more many times when she goes to these places simply because of the awfully poor living arrangements that they do have.
Sources say they do what they can to survive only Angelina Jolie doesn’t believe that is good enough she wants people to know about all refugees and the things they have to go through just to survive one day. The circumstances they live by include poor living quarters, poor water supply and many other problems that people want to look the other way with. It is a sad time for these people but they still smile and make life what it is for themselves and their children. They always say life is good if they are breathing.
