With this web-slinging superhero Tobey Maguire was made into an international sensation and the concept that any type of further Spiderman movie in the near future hasn’t deterred him from his acting or even from being happy and content. In many ways he was a leading man that even at a young age surprised the critics. When he was younger he made appearances on sitcoms such as Roseanne and dramas. In fact, he met one of his best friends Leonardo Dicaprio. Who later he worked with in the movie Parenthood. In ‘92 is when Tobey Maguire received his first role in being a nerd in Great Scott.
But after that went flat broke Tobey set his sights on being in Hollywood on the big screen in theaters all over the world. It became a passion for him, and he became a stereotyped goofy kid that loved to act. After this he helped turn Spiderman into one of the greatest movies of the decades. He also had a role in Sea Biscuit.
Some people disagreed with the black Spiderman version and in some ways Tobey himself didn’t think that portion would fit right in with the other sequels however with his acting talent and the Spiderman sequels box office sales were through the roof during that time. The sales of DVD’s were also good.
Now Maguire has other plans going on and he is still acting. He isn’t sure when or if the next Spiderman will come out but he says if it does he will be ready.
