For some reason the Godfather star dropped out Al Pacino wanted the movie to begin filming so he took his place. Along with stars such as channing Tatum, and a few others who are going to be in the movie. There were rumors of an argument on the set with De Niro however these might not be factual anyway. He just left and didn’t come back is what one of the workers said. They were talking about shutting the movie and filming it down until Al Pacino got a hold of the director and they worked out all of the details needed for the filming to proceed.

There wasn’t any reason given for his leaving. This is weird because this is usually the type of movies that Robert liked to do. There’s speculation about a bunch of other rumors like he couldn’t work with some of the people in the cast too. Either way Pacino stepped up for him so that would let you know he’s a good friend and he wanted the movie to go on even if he wasn’t in it.
