Al Pacino In Merchant Of Venice Headed To Broadway



According to sources the actor Al Pacino and The Merchant Of Venice is heading to broadway this fall. the public theater announced that following an eight week run at Central park’s theater, Pacino will relocate to Broadway as Shylock in the Shakespeare comedy this fall.

It will be opening in October at the Broadhurst theater, the production will run through the middle of January 2011. However no other casting announcements were made as of yet. Al Pacino has played in several movies on the big screen and this will be a twist for him however he claims it will be a fun thing to do in his career and his achievements. Some actors want to do Broadway just as much as being on the big screen and he is one of those actors.

Although there isn’t a lot of information for this project Al Pacino is ready for the play and being on Broadway. He feels as though he is ready and willing to do what the directors and producers ask of him. As the time gets closer there will be more information about this and what Al Pacino is doing.
