Its no secret that Adam Sandler is the type of guy that loves to do comedy in his films and the movies that he is in. For example, his latest movie Bedtime Stories everything he tells the children before bedtime is starting to come to pass. And although there are several different scenes in the movie where Adam is crazy the scene that he is reminded of the most is the gumball scene.
In this scene the directors and producers decided to use real gumballs and much to Adam Sandler’s surprise they used real gumballs to dump on him. He claimed he was pounded by gumballs. As he laughed about it he realized that there have been other movies he has been in that had similar reactions out of him. For example, the Mr. Deeds movie one of his older movies was similar.
And, Adam does try to do many of the stunts on his own although there are those stunts when he gladly lets a double do the work. Being a comedian there are movies that are his favorites that aren’t even his own. They are released by different actors and actresses. There is nothing like a storm of gumballs to wake you up and let you know you are making a movie that is going to literally be hilarious. This is a family movie and it is great for the entire family to watch.
When they were filming the scene with the gumballs Adam made the comment that when the gumballs hit the umbrella it just got really loud. He felt as if he were in a hail storm and was hoping that the umbrella would hold out. In fact, he made sure he had the strongest umbrella available. Other scenes in the movie were also hilarious but the gumball scene is the one scene that Adam remembers the most.
